Yesterday, on Indigenous People's Day, 27 activists were arrested in North Dakota for gathering in peaceful prayer and protest against the Dakota Access pipeline.

The disproportionate scale of militarized force used against water protectors is in violation of their right to peaceful assembly. We must continue in our fight for #NoDAPL. #DefendtheSacredNo justification for state's response
